In 2014 she went to Taiwan to attend the Kinmen Poem Festival, Wine Culture Festival, and "Poetry and Painting Activities of many International Artists". In 2017, Dunhuang painting " Servant Bodhisattva " was selected as the "first Chinese multi-national artist calligraphy and painting exhibition". Her painting works have been selected for China’s national art collections.

Dunhuang Grottoes art is a part of the world’s heritage. Dunhuang murals are mainly used for decoration and they compliment the sculptures in the Grottoes. They feature diversity, large scale, the finest art skills, and the richest content, providing very valuable paintings.

During the tenth century Dunhuang murals became more isolated and local painting academies led to mass production of paintings with unique styles. Dunhuang murals feature myths and legends, folk tales, and gods. They focus on reflection of Bodhisattva as a person, the Buddha is prepared to become a Buddha. Supporting the Buddha is like a Buddha's secretary or servant. Dunhuang frescoes were created over various dynasties with good and bad copies. Many of them are very rough and painted by artisans on protected murals to prevent damage. Normally Dunhuang murals are very difficult to access. Meng Niang is among the few artists who allow access to her cave and works which include some favorite statues restored in her own unique style. The image ‘Cave of the Goddess of Mercy Buddha’ is very beautiful and is very well preserved. Early Tang works are known as the beautiful cave and generally it is not open to public.

Dunhuang murals are valuable and there are some original collections in the British Museum. However some images are very old and not as crisp as could be.
